Privacy

The short version

We collect as little as we can. No advertising, no tracking across sites, no data sold or shared for marketing. Your agents run on our servers in the European Union.

What we collect on this website

Your email address, if you ask for access. We use it for one thing: to tell you when your spot is ready. The legal basis is your consent. We keep it until you get access or ask us to erase it, and 12 months at most.

Where you came from, if you ask for access after clicking one of our ads or a campaign link. The address of the page then carries a click identifier from Google and the name of the campaign. We keep them with your email to know which ads bring people, and we send Google only the click identifier and the time you joined, never your email. Nothing is stored in your browser for this. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in measuring our ads; you can object at any time by writing to us, and they are erased with your email.

Your IP address, for a moment. When you submit the form, it is used to stop bots from flooding the list. It is held in memory for one hour and never written to a database.

Page views. We count visits with Vercel Web Analytics: the page, the referring site, the country, the device type and the browser. It uses no cookie and no persistent identifier, cannot follow you across sites, and is never linked to your email. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in knowing which pages are read.

Bot check. The access form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots. Cloudflare sees your IP address and basic browser signals for that check only, under its own privacy policy.

Cookies. The public pages set none. The dashboard sets a single session cookie when you sign in, needed to keep you signed in. There is nothing to accept or refuse.

What we hold when you use Waken

Your agents. Their files, their memory, their checkpoints and their conversation history are stored on our servers in the European Union so that they can keep running. We access them only to operate the service or when you ask us for help.

Your model API keys. They are passed to your agent in memory and used only to call the model provider you chose. They are never stored in our database, never displayed again, to anyone, and they are deleted with the agent. Agent disks and checkpoints, which can hold what an agent keeps in memory, are encrypted at rest on our servers.

Your messages. What you send to an agent goes to the model provider you chose (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, DeepSeek, Moonshot, OpenRouter or Cursor), under your own account with them and their own terms. Waken does not use your data to train anything.

Your Claude sign-in. If you run an agent on your Claude subscription, you sign in inside Claude Code, in your agent's machine, through Anthropic's own page. That login stays in the machine, encrypted at rest with it. We never see it, store it elsewhere or use it.

Who processes it for us

Scaleway SAS (France) hosts the agents, the API and our encrypted backups, in the European Union. Supabase Inc. stores your account (email, plan) in the European Union. Vercel Inc. (United States) hosts this website, including the access form, and counts page views. Resend Inc. (United States) sends the sign-in emails. Cloudflare Inc. (United States) runs the bot check of the access form. Google Ireland Ltd. receives the click identifier of an ad you came from, as described above. Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. (Ireland) handles payments, when you pay for a plan. OVH SAS (France) hosts our mailbox, for the emails you send us. Transfers to the United States rely on the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission.

For the data your agents hold, such as files, messages and logs, you are the controller and we process it on your behalf, under our data processing agreement.

What you send to an agent goes to the model provider you chose, as described above. If you connect Telegram, Discord or Slack, your messages to an agent also go through that service, under its own terms.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or erase your data, to object to its use or to take it with you, at any time and for free. Contact hello@waken.sh. We answer within one month.

If you think we got it wrong, you can file a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL.

Changes

If we start collecting anything new, this page says so before it happens, and the date at the top changes.
